I grew up in suburban Long Island and have been running away ever since. Graduated college in 2001 with a degree in English Lit and Public Praxis and started working and apprenticeships at Biointensive and Permaculture farms shortly thereafter. Co-founded Bountiful Backyards in 2006 with my brother and have been running this business as a cooperative and community based enterprise ever since. We have worked with more than 2500 residential clients, churches, NCCU, Duke, and UNC as well as several larger scale community projects.
